Who do I like???? That is easy, it is Today's Options PFFS by Pyramid Life.
The Premier Plan for 2010 is $104.mo and the Value Plan is $65.00
Both of them have a $3400 out of pocket maximum. You can go to any Dr. or Hospital that accepts your card and Terms and Condition of Payment. There are no networks.
You can get a fair PPO plan with Humana but it does not have the Sterling-Rock Falls Clinic doctors in the network, just CGH and their docs. Beware of going to a out-of-network hospital or Dr. because that would trigger substantial extra fees.
You honestly cannot fairly compare Medicare Advantage plans. As long as we can still get a plan that does not have networks I am recommending those plans. We may not have that luxury in 2011. It all depends upon what the new administration in Washington decides.
